Solace

Solace provides information and resources to guide transgender people through whatever process of gender transition they desire. Their app is available for free.

Solace, available for download on iOS and Android, is the world’s first companion app to the transgender experience, putting information and technology in the user’s hands in order to allow them to set goals for their transition, access information related to those goals, and track their progress as they mark goals as complete.

Solace is a fiscally-sponsored project of the Smith-Barbieri Progressive Fund, a 501(c)3 nonprofit based out of Spokane, WA, and was developed by Robbi Katherine Anthony and Patrick McHugh in partnership with Crowdbotics (https://www.crowdbotics.com).

Solace was created by Robbi Katherine Anthony, Patrick McHugh, Juan Pablo Delgado, Ari Martinez, & Diego Hernandez at HackOut 2019, the world's only LGBTQIA-themed Startup Weekend event. After taking first place from both the audience and judges, the team forged ahead to develop Solace and make it a reality for those who needed it.
